Day 3
Amazing Day!!!!
Many of you finished your bags. What do you think was the most challenging part? Great problem solving with your drawstrings:)
Several of you started working on crochet chains. I am thrilled that you are teaching each other the skills you know.
Tomorrow...we finish knitting needles (ran out of time today).. and we officially begin CROCHET..
Happy Stitching
Day 2
Woo Hoo:) Today you started making knitting needles...wow. I have baked your clay
pieces in the oven and they look great tomorrow we will attach them to your needles.
What do you think of your bag projects? Stitches are looking straight and even.
Tomorrow we will finish your needles and bags.
Happy stitching:)

Welcome to "On Pins and Needles"
Day 1:
Congratulations! You have completed your first project. Your pincushions look so cute:)
Tomorrow we will start your knitting needles.
Here is the list of things to bring to class:
1. Container to become your Sewing Box
2. Walmart (etc.) plastic bags
3. Containter to become your Yarn Bowl
4. Scrap fabric to use in your Hula Hoop Weaving project.
Remember...these should all be recycled items...do not ask your parents to buy anything!
It's much more fun and interesting to "repurpose" old treasures:)
Happy stitching!
